A workshop on 2D & 3D animation and screenwriting by Vancouver Film School was conducted on 17th & 18th February 2016.
Content of workshop
Animation at Worcester encompasses 2D traditional and digital animation, stop motion and claymation and 3D CGI for games, animation and film. Students also gain skills in editing, sound, compositing, concept art for games and animation, VFX techniques and creative concept generation. Alongside placing strong emphasis on nurturing your practice as an animator, it supports gain solid, foundational understanding of relevant history and theory. It integrates live projects into year-long modules of study to enable you to experience real, studio-based production in support of your preparation for professional work.
It provides creative, challenging approaches to writing for the screen and performance – from initial conception to production. Animation and Screenwriting are led and taught by experienced animators and illustrators, industry practitioners and academics.
