An international design competition held in Tokyo, Japan, for students to compete with each other in designing an innovative architecture: bridge and city design using BIM/CIM &VR technologies. The students of DTDP grabbed this opportunity and participated with their outstanding work outlining a predefined theme in the aspect of design, innovative idea, and creativity on the theme and then ran a simulation. For their great efforts the DECCAN DESIGNERS representing JNAFAU (India) got nominated and had to present their work for the final jury held in Japan. They have finally made through and got placed in 3rd position and won the “HONOURABLE JUDGE AWARD” with a 50,000 yen cash prize.
