He has extensively traveled in India and some parts of Nepal, and he possesses more than 5000 pictures in the form of prints/transparences in analog form. Even though digital photography has taken over, still he prefers to shoot in an analog form.
Prof.. Rahman inspite of his steady job, has acquired many other educational qualifications, like he graduated in Commerce from Osmania University, took Master’s Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication in 2000.
He has conducted three Solo Photographic Exhibitions:
“Rack Forms of Deccan” held at Kolkata
“Heritage Structures of Hyderabad” at Hyderabad
“Street life of Kolkata” at Hyderabad
God’s own country on Kerala (proposed)
And he has future plans to publish books on the themes of “Architecture moments Andhra Pradesh”, “Temple Architecture in South India”, “Rivers of South India”, “Forts of South India”, “Tribes of Andhra Pradesh” and their culture.
In the year 2008, when the JNAFA University was formed, he was elevated to Controller of Examinations by the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, which has given him a platform to prove his administration skills.
